Design, Grayscale and Ceramic Mask
On a technical level, the design of the relief is mainly based on the development of the gray scale and mask, applying the considerations and specifications of the ceramics.
The way to represent and design a ceramic matrix is by grayscale.
Grayscales are images created from the entire range of grays ranging from white to pure black.
In order to interpret them, it is necessary to know that the darkest areas represent the deepest parts of the relief, and the whitest areas are equivalent to the high parts.
Each shade of gray is translated proportionally, to a depth value.

The masks are black and white images that delimit the geometry of textures or surfaces. They must perfectly match the gray scale they represent.
They are used by ceramic designers, for the application of digital printing, differentiating each of the zones.
If you need a new relief, we will develop the gray scales and provide you with the necessary masks.
If you already have a relief and grayscale, but the mask is not appropriate, you can contact us, and we will give you a solution.
